The most exciting thing to happen to me was to be approached by Sandra Salamony from Quarry Publishing and asked to submit some pictures of my cupcakes for a book she was putting together called "1000 Ideas for decorating Cupcakes, Cookies & Cakes".
Initially she ask me for 12 images but I ended up sending her 20, and to my absolute amazement, when I recieved my copies and went through the book, I found there were 17 Bella Cupcakes images in it, and to make it even more exciting, my picture took the centre spot on the cover of the book.
If you would like to grab a copie of this brilliant book you can get it from Amazon here:

I couldn't believe it when I recieved a phone call from the guys at iAMTV at TV2, asking if I could appear on an episode of their Saturday morning show. It took ALOT of convincing from my friends and family to actually accept the invite because I was terrified, but I did accept and in the end it was alot of fun and everyone was very proud of my first ever TV appearance. I even had the honor of making cupcakes for Kiwi singing star Hollie Smith AND iAMTV asked me to make a cake for their 100th show special, take a look at it on my flickr here:

Well I thought it was crazy getting asked the first time to be on a TV show, but to get invited TWICE!! well that was just unreal. The guys from TV3's Pasific Beat St had seen my little segment on iAMTV and wanted me to do an even longer piece on their Sunday morning show which was a no-brainer, I didn't need any convincing this time around.
